28 SEPTEMBER - 7 OCTOBER 2010 This unbelievable scheduled safari itinerary in the Kruger is for the specific dates of 28 September to 7 October 2010. This safari is undeniably the most well organised once-in a-lifetime opportunity for African wildlife enthusiasts to visit the world’s most prolific big African game reserve. Eight people will be on safari with specialists in their field, professionals that deliver the very best service levels, and that are recognised as leaders in offering personal and exclusive safari guiding. Simply safari – it is a combination of all the facets of being on safari in the world-famous Kruger. ITINERARY – BRIEF DESCRIPTION Departs from Nelspruit International Airport, South Africa.. SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2010 Explore the Kruger National Park and experience beyond the Big Five with your highly qualified guide and your own personal safari chef in this scheduled safari itinerary. This safari is undeniably the most well-organised once-in a-lifetime opportunity for African wildlife enthusiasts to visit the world’s most prolific southern African game reserve. We offer this package only on the selected date above and have restricted guest numbers to 8 people sharing on this trip. Your safari is conducted by specialists in their field, professionals that deliver the very best service levels, and that are recognised as leaders in offering personal and exclusive guiding. Ten incredible days exploring and experiencing the ultimate South African journey provides visitors with a fantastic small group safari in the inspiring and world-famous Kruger. Spend early mornings tracking wildlife in our open safari game viewing vehicle with perfect photographic opportunities. Then back for a hearty breakfast and a nap before lunch followed by more game viewing in the late afternoon. Watch the sun go down with the obligatory gin and tonic around a roaring bush fire complete with good food and wine courtesy of your own personal chef. ITINERARY This is a small group private safari and is scheduled for 28 SEPTEMBER TO 7 OCTOBER , and is ideal for a small group, family or couples wishing to have an exclusive small group experience. 28-29 SEPTEMBER (1 NIGHT) This quaint very private camp with only 5 units is our entrance to a wonderful safari. Situated inside the Kruger it is 3 kms from the main entrance gate (Malelane) and is a perfect intorudction to a wonderful 10 days where Neil and his hospitality chef will sit you down and talk about the up-coming adventure in this national park that is the size of a small country. During you next 8 nights you will be travelling about 1 000kms through SA's national treasure. Accommodation is in private en-suite bungalow under thatch with four beds. Southern to central Kruger 29 SEPT TO 2 OCTOBER (3 NIGHTS) After breakfast on the second day begins a fantastic privately guided game drive into the ecology and diversity of the southern landscapes of the Kruger, where we spend the second and third nights at Skukuza. Where you will be able to shop for African curios as well visit the Kruger's museum. There is also a swimming pool at Skukuza where you can relax and cool off between game drives. Night four is spent at Olifants Camp north east of Satara. Olifants is is situated on top of a steep hill which towers over the Olifants River. The views from the lookout platform teeter above dizzying views of the river below, just as an eagle would see it from the sky. All accommodation for these three nights include serviced (linen and towels) en-suite units for two or three people sharing. 2 - 5 OCTOBER (3 NIGHTS) central Kruger Nights five to seven are spent at Talamati Private Bushveld Lodge in the central Kruger. The accommodation is wonderful and consists of a private en-suite cottagen -- Africa is truly all around you. You will stay in your own private en-suite cottage. Talamati is well known for its great elephant and lion sightings, and Neil will have you out early in the morning to see if you can catch up with some of these magnificent animals. A night drive is included at to maximise your sightings of nocturnal animals. 5-7 OCTOBER (2 NIGHTS) southern Kruger Nights eight and nine are spent at Biyamiti Private Bushveld Lodge in the southern Kruger on the banks of the Biyamiti river where you will stay in your own private en-suite family cottage (serviced daily). The accommodations in both lodges are extremely quaint under thatched roofs and are serviced daily to include fresh linen and towels. The surrounding bush is well-known for its rhino, leopard, elephant and lion sightings. The lodges are deep in the Kruger – so you will hear plenty of noises (like hyenas and lions roaring, etc) with one of the most qualified guides in the Kruger and a chef, who will host you, cook for you and of course we conduct the game drives in our own luxury open game drive vehicle. Cost is fully inclusive of all meals and refreshments courtesy your safari chef, all private Kruger accommodation, conservation and entrance fees, all game drives (two a day), one morning bush walk and a night drive in an open safari vehicle. Excludes International/domestic flights, tips/guide gratuities, souvenirs and travel insurance.
