I T I N E R A R Y
Day 1
You will be received at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport, Nairobi, where you will be met by your tour representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay in preparation for the start of the Safari. Overnight at your city hotel.
Day 2
The safari begins in Nairobi after breakfast by taking a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Maasai Mara, the finest game reserve in the world. Stop along the way at traditional Maasai villages to experience the tribal way of life. Arrive before lunch. The evening game drive allows spotting of the unrivalled wildlife in the park.Overnight at Mara Simba lodge.
Day 3
Full day at Mara, with morning and afternoon game drive. Explore this large reserve with it's magnificent wildlife. You may even opt for a full day in the park with a picnic lunch at a designated site within the reserve. Rest of the day at leisure – relax by the pool.Overnight at the Mara Simba Lodge.
Day 4
Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru park, a bird and Rhino sanctuary. This scenic lake is famous for its millions of pink flamingoes, along with other wildlife. Evening gamedrive. Overnight at the Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 5
Leave after breakfast for the luxurious Mount Kenya Safari Club, from where you can enjoy the fantastic view of this snow-capped mountain on the equator. The club offers several activities including golf, fishing and horse riding.Overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Day 6
The safari moves on to Samburu Game Reserve, the semi arid region of the nomadic Samburu people. Game drive after lunch allows viewing of the rare local species of Zebra and Giraffe.
Overnight at Samburu Serena or equivalent.
Day 7
Full day at Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight at Samburu Serena or equivalent.
Day 8
Depart for Nairobi. Arrive in time for lunch. On arrival, take a short flight to Mombasa. Welcome to the beach! Transfer to the exclusive Whitesands Beach otel on North Coast. Beautiful white beaches and numerous activities on offer, including watersports. Overnight at Whitesands Beach Hotel.
Day 9
Full day at the hotel. Enjoy the excellent cuisine at this club, which is designed in Swahili style.
Day 10
Full day at the hotel. Enjoy the excellent cuisine at this club, which is designed in Swahili style.
Day 11
Catch your 45 minute flight back to Nairobi.
