The Kruger is probably the best kept secret in all of Africa. The game viewing is amazing, the facilities are well maintained and the access roads to and from the Kruger is fantastic. |
I T I N E R A R Y Day 1. We meet you at the Johannesburg International Airport. Depart for Shopping centre in Pretoria for lunch and shopping. Arrive in Klein Kariba hot water spring not later than 16:00h to pitch camp. Enjoy rest of the day in hot water spring. 200 km Day 2. We are up quite early and leave ASAP for Louis Trichardt where we should be by lunch. Then on to Punda Maria Gate where we enter the Kruger. We drive the 18 km to the Punda Maria camp where we make our camp. During the late afternoon we go for a game drive. (500 km) Day 3. We spend the day driving to different water holes or lookout points in the vicinity of Punda Maria Camp. This depends on where animals where spotted the previous day. (100 km) Day 4. After a lazy breakfast, we break camp and drive south towards Shingwedzi where we make our camp. During the late afternoon we go for a game drive. Day 5: We spend the day driving to different water holes or lookout points in the vicinity of Shingwedzi Day 6: After a lazy breakfast, we break camp and drive south towards Letaba Camp Site where we make our camp. During the late afternoon we go for a game drive. Day 7: We spend the day driving to different water holes or lookout points in the vicinity of Letaba. Day 8: We spend the day driving to different water holes or lookout points in the vicinity of Letaba. Day 9: After a lazy breakfast, we break camp and drive south and make our camp in Bulule Camp Site. During the late afternoon we go for a game drive. Day 10: We spend this day exploring the banks of the Olifants River. All depends on where animals where spotted the previous day. Day 11: We break camp and slowly make our way Westwards towards Pretoriuskop Campsite. During the afternoon we go for a game drive Day 12: We break camp and drive to Nelspruit where we should be shortly before lunch. Afterwards it is an easy 4 hours drive to the airport where we should arrive by 17: 30h in time for you departure on 18:30h. Conclusion: Total distance: 1, 500 km Countries visited: South Africa Meals supplied: 34 Accommodation: Camping Includes: Accommodation, food, soft drinks, entrance fees, activities, beers and sodas limited to 5 per day, local wines limited to 2 glasses per day. Excludes: Tips, more that the quota of drinks, hard liquor. Number of guests: 1 – 12 persons in 4 vehicles Total costs: 2 Persons R20, 000 3 - 9 Persons R17, 000 Single supplement R20, 000 NB: 1: We prefer to be paid in Rand seeing the volatility of the exchange rate 2: The vehicles used are luxury SUV's with air-conditioning and CD players. 3: The clients need only to bring clothes and personal medicine and toiletries. 4: Extra for the clients are bottled water, snacks or sweets, own shopping and the activities other than included in this itinerary. 5: This same route can be done at a slower pace where you, our guest can determine if you would like to stay longer in a specific area. Naturally this will increase the total price but not with much seeing the fact that all travelling costs has been covered already. This is an economy type safari and it is expected of the guests to help with the pitching of the tents, the making of beds and some cooking and cleaning. We use I tour guide to 3 guests.
