This tour is one for those wanting to see the apex predator of the sea in action.

I T I N E R A R Y
Day 1
Depart Cape Town for Hermanus, having been collected from your hotel or the airport. Take a scenic drive to the small town of Hermanus, famous for it’s Whale watching. Overnight in Hermanus at a bed and breakfast or guest Lodge. There is a variety of accommodation establishments available in the area, catering for all budgets. – B&B
Day 2-4
The next 3 days you will spend out at sea, in the presence of majestic Great White Sharks. However, these days are very much weather dependant, so you will only go to sea if the weather permits.
These days out at sea will be spent in and around the channel between Geyser Rock and Dyer Island, more commonly referred to as “shark alley” – the reason for this is that this area is home to over 40 000 Cape Fur Seals, providing the Great Whites with an unlimited source of food and is their natural hunting ground.
Both non-divers and divers are able to appreciate these majestic creatures, as boat based viewing is very popular; in fact most people admire these apex predators from the comfort of the boat. For those adventurous people who want to get into the cage and come face to face with a Great White, all dive gear/equipment is provided.
During the course of the day snacks are available and lunch served, even towels are provided for your convenience.
Whether you enjoy this experience with the Great Whites from the boat or in the cage, these great predators of the sea’ll blow you away.
Return to shore at approximately 14H00.
Overnight in Hermanus – B&B
Day 5.
Take a scenic drive back to your hotel in Cape Town or transfer to the airport.
