Day 3 - Tana - Périnet - Tana 280 km Early in the morning, drive to Périnet. In the Reserve of Périnet you can see the Indri, the biggest lemur species in the world. The Indri differ from the other sorts through their loud communication calls that can be heard even from 4 km distance. Visit of the Lemurs' Island which will give you the opportunity to touch lemurs. Transfer back to Tana or stay in Vakôna forest Lodge*** (if there is room availability). Day 4 Tana - Antsirabe 312 km City tour. Departure for Antsirabe by car in the Highlands through the green rice fields. Continuation to Antsirabe, the town was built by the Norwegian missionaries and is famous for its rickshaws, thermal springs, semi-precious and precious stones. Day 8 Sainte - Marie Today is the beginning of a total relaxation. Protected by the coralreefs, the sea of Sainte Marie is the best place for such nautical activities as diving, snorkeling and swimming. Each year between August and October, the humpbacked whales come here to have their babies. Beaches of dream invite you to an idyllic evening walk. We are just back from the wonderful 'Nature and Culture tour of Madagascar' which was most interesting.
The tour was well organised. Fanja, could not have been more helpful. Also our driver Hainjo whom we got to know quite well over the 10 days was always considerate of our needs and made sure we saw everything to our full satisfaction.

An excellent holiday, well organised in every detail. We had a particularly good guide and driver - a very safe driver.
