Q. What is the Africa Guide Affiliate Programme?
A. If you have a Web site, The Africa Guide Affiliate Programme is a way for you to earn cash,
introduce your site visitors or email subscribers to the wide selection of travel packages at The Africa Guide,
and be a part of the travel team that is building the largest Africa travel community. The Africa Guide Affiliate Programme
compensates affiliates for completed bookings made as a result of enquiries made in our Africa Travel Center.
You will receive payments for completed bookings where the client is recorded in our database as having originated from your affiliate links.
Its very easy! Sign up today and join us. We want you to be a successful Africa Guide affiliate, and we've taken steps to support you
along the way. You'll receive quarterly commission payments, and you'll have the tools you need to maximise your effectiveness and
satisfy your site visitors and email subscribers.
Q. What is a completed booking?
A. A completed booking is when a client has made an enquiry to a tour operator via our Africa Travel Center
and gone on to make a booking for travel services supplied by that tour operator and then had those travel services supplied to them and that tour
operator has paid The Africa Guide all commissions due for that booking.

Q. Is the Affiliate Programme free to join?
A. Yes! There is absolutely no cost to become an Africa Guide Affiliate.

Q. How do I add links?
A. Once you sign up for our affiliate programme, you'll have access to a variety of banners, buttons, text links and display boxes
that you can add to your site. You can log into your account through our Affiliate Login page at any time to see a list of our available affiliate links.
Once logged in, simply select one of the "Build Links" at the left of the page. Choose your desired link and select the code (HTML).
Copy and paste the HTML code to your web page. It's that easy!
Q. How many links can I have to The Africa Guide?
A. You can have as many links, both text and banner, as you like.
Q. Can I use the The Africa Guide logo or content on my site?
A. You will have access to a wide variety of buttons, banners, and text links after signing up for our programme. You are welcome to
use any of the graphics and text links provided. You may not alter or modify any banners or buttons without obtaining prior written permission
from The Africa Guide. You must also secure permission before using any third party's copyrighted materials or other content at The Africa Guide.
Q. What if I have more than one web site?
A. No problem, just list your different websites you would like to place our affiliate links on when you fill in our affiliate
registration form. We will check each website to ensure it is acceptable to our Terms & Conditions. If one of your websites is found not to be acceptable we will
let you know why and invite you to re-apply.

Q. How much will I be paid?
A. The commissions you earn each quarter are based on how many completed bookings (see "What is a completed booking")
your affiliate links generate.
Q. How do I check the status of my account?
A. Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email notification welcoming you to our programme. This will include
your login password, so make sure to make a note of it. To see your account status, log in to our affiliate programme. Once logged in, you can
see your account balance on your screen.
Q. When and how do I get paid?
A. Once you join our programme, you'll be able to log into your account and go to the area titled "Reports". Here you can see how
much in commissions you have earned. Commissions payments are sent end of each month by cheque drawn on UK Bank account, or via Paypal to all
affiliates who have accumulated at least £50 in their account. There are no invoices to send and no data to track - all commission payments are
taken care of by The Africa Guide.
We can post your commission payment cheque internationally, cheques are made out in GBP (British Pound).

Q. Are there any restrictions?
A. We would like everyone to promote The Africa Guide. However, there are cases where we can’t allow certain sites to participate in our
Affiliate Programme. We will evaluate your application in good faith and will notify you of your acceptance or rejection. We may reject
your application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that your site is not suitable for the Programme. Unsuitable sites include those that:
- Promote hunting
- Promote sexually explicit materials
- Promote violence
- Promote illegal activities
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
- Include The Africa Guide or variations or misspellings thereof in their domain names
- Otherwise violate intellectual property rights
If we reject your application, you are welcome to reapply to the Programme at any time. You should also note that if we accept your application
and your site is thereafter determined, at our sole discretion, to be unsuitable for the Programme, we may terminate this Agreement.
Q. Do I need to sign any kind of agreement?
A. There is nothing for you to sign but you must agree to the terms & conditions of our Agreement before joining our programme.
These can be reviewed when applying.

Q. Is there any restriction on where I am based?
A. No problem. We welcome you to join our programme and to help promote The Africa Guide to your visitors’ worldwide.
However there are some countries that we are not accepting affiliates from at this time.
