This 4-day Kruger safari is privately guided in the Kruger National Park: nature guiding with your own qualified guide and the best food (your safari chef).
Meet and Greet – arrival day You will be transferred from Joburg airport by our preferred road operator who will transfer you to the Kruger to meet Neil (your guide) and Alistair (your chef).
You will be settled into your accommodation and then onto our open-sided safari game viewing vehicle for your first memorable game drive conducted by Neil and your introduction to the world-famous Kruger National Park.
Nestled on the banks of the Biyamiti river, this private bushveld lodge plays host to some of the biggest buffalo herds in the Kruger. Elephants, lion and leopard are frequent visitors to the water pools in front of the lodge, as well as rhino (both white and black rhino) and hyena. Our game drives meander in and out of the river system, up and down rolling hills, and through the mixed thornveld and riverine areas of the Crocodile River.
Accommodation at Biyamiti consists of en-suite cottages, which are fully serviced under beautiful thatched roofs and very comfortable. A morning guided bushwalk will be conducted by Neil and another armed ranger.
Neil and Alistair take up residence in a nearby unit from which they will host your mealtimes, fireside conversations and hospitality.
Departure On your last day after breakfast and a gamedrive you will be collected and transferred back to Joburg airport.
Safari includes: Return road transfer from Johannesburg/or Nelspruit to Kruger return. All accommodation in private en-suite family cottages in two locations (fresh linen and towels). Conservation and entrance fees. All private guiding and game drives in our open-sided game viewing vehicle (see pic below). All breakfasts, dinners, gamedrive snacks and refreshments courtesy of your own private hospitality chef. Refreshments include: South African wine, beer, bottled water and fresh juice. All safari activities as per itinerary (including two gamedrives a day and a morning guided bush walk).
Our unique relationship with our tour operators ensures only people who have participated in a trip after making an enquiry for it at The Africa Guide can leave a review.
The email we send you when you make an enquiry has full instructions for registering a booking and leaving a review - both are free services.
Feel free to read through the reviews for any trip you like the look of.
Trips with no reviews are usually new to the The Africa Guide but are normally operated by a tour operator who is established here. Most tour operators listing here will usually have gained reviews about other trips they have listed here.
Thanks for visiting, happy travels and don't forget to send us your reviews...
Our safari exceeded our expectations in every way possible.
From the start, Tina promptly address all our questions and concerns. She was in touch with us every step of the way.
Neil, our guide, was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better man to teach us about the bush. His knowledge and understanding of the animals and their behavior was so impressive. He was also very in tune to our feelings and emotions. Nothing was too much trouble.
Gordon, our cook, prepared a fabulous spread at every meal. Again, our every need was attended too.
We would highly recommend this safari operator. We hope to make the trip again some day ourselves.
