We had an amazing experience. Neil, our guide and company owner (with his wife Tina) is an incredible guide. His knowledge of the animals, but also of the environment, botany, astronomy, and particularly of the behavioral sciences was fascinating and enhanced the experience so much.
We feel so fortunate to have seen these amazing animals in their natural surroundings, but also to hear the stories behind their behaviors. Many people here in the Kruger drive themselves on self-tours, and while this experience is probably wonderful, they are missing so much by not having the expertise of someone who understands this environment like Neil does. If you are looking to truly experience the African bush, rather than just chasing the Big 5, I would whole-heartedly recommend this tour operator.

Comment:
Booking this safari was very easy since the lines of communication were always open between me and the tour operator. The response time to my queries was immediate.
It was the most fabulous safari imaginable!! Our guide, Neil, was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the Kruger. We learned much about the animals' life styles, their foot prints and how to track them, and about the predator/prey relationships.
We were very fortunate to have seen very many animals- even some of the rarer ones like the wild dogs. Our drives were leisurely and very successful.
We learned about the various species of trees and the multiple uses of each tree.
Many birds were pointed out to us- they were beautiful.
We booked the luxury safari and could not have asked for anything better. The accommodations were fantastic- gorgeous locations and very comfortable surroundings.
Our chef, Marco, was excellent. We were catered to in every way- from being served refreshments in our vehicle to the many deluxe meals at the sites.
The night at Blyde River Canyon was awesome. We enjoyed the ride from Kruger since the scenery was spectacular. Visiting the small towns and stops along the way was very interesting in that we were able to see the native tradespeople displaying and selling their wares.
I would recommend this safari to everyone. It was the most remarkable holiday we ever enjoyed!!!

Itinerary
Meet and Greet – arrival day
You will be collected from Nelspruit airport by our preferred road operator who will transfer you into the Kruger to Meet Neil (your guide) and Alistair (your chef).
You will be settled into your accommodation and then onto our open-sided safari game viewing vehicle for your first memorable game drive conducted by Neil and your introduction to the world-famous Kruger National Park.
Berg-en-Dal (restcamp) (2 nights) southern Kruger - (2 nights) Accommmodation is a two bedroomed 6-bedded family unit (fresh linen and towels) with bathroom. Berg-en-Dal means 'mountain and dale' aptly named for its superb location. Great care has been taken to preserve the natural vegetation in the camp area, which comprises Malelane Mountain Bushveld (woodland), attracting a variety of grazers. The areahosts white rhino, kudu, impala, giraffe, elephant, reedbuck, klipspringer, grey rhebok and warthog.
Leopard and wild dog are regularly seen in the region. Bird watchers will find the appeal of Berg en Dal Restcamp irresistible as a wide variety of birds species can be seen here. Neil will conduct a morning walk on one of the mornings.
Skukuza (restcamp/southern Kruger) Activities, attractions and facilities are diverse, as are the animals and plants found both within Skukuza Restcamp and the surrounding area. Skukuza Camp is an excellent rest camp from which to pursue the Big Five and birds in the vicinity. Lion are frequently spotted along this route. At night, look for the fruit bat that hangs under the eaves of the shop, and the thick-tailed bush baby climbing the trees in search of gum. Accommodation is in en-suite units with fresh linen and towels. Neil and Gordon will host and cook for you in each location in a nearby unit.
Safari includes: Return road transfers from Nelspruit airport to Kruger. All private en-suite family accommodation (fresh linen and towels) in two Kruger locations (see below). Conservation and entrance fees. All private guiding and game drives in our open-sided game viewing vehicle. All breakfasts, dinners, gamedrive snacks and refreshments courtesy of your own private hospitality chef on safari days. Refreshments include: South African wine, beer, bottled water and fresh juice. All safari activities as per itinerary (including two gamedrives a day and a night drive/bush braai or guided morning bush walk).
