After hiking this wonderful and unbelievable Mountain, you will also have a chance to visit the famous Serengeti National Park, Tanzania\'s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration.

This tour also will take you to another one of the 8th Wonders of the World, The Ngorongoro Crater, which is East Africa’s ultimate ’Big Five’ destination. Heavy-tusked elephant bulls haunt its groves and swamps, while a precious herd of black rhino is regularly seen in more open terrain, and dense populations of lion, leopard and other predators gorge on abundant herds of buffalo and other grazers.

Have you ever imagined that a lion can climb the tree?? This is another astonishing and exciting for this Special trip... Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, The compact game-viewing circuit through Lake Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience.

Day 1: ARRIVAL DAY. Moshi
Arrive at any time and transfer to your hotel in Moshi Town for Overnight- BB

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Hike the lower slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro to Machame Camp. (1B,1L,1D)
Elevation (m): 1830m to 3100m -Elevation (ft): 6000ft to 10,200ft -Distance: 18km -Hiking Time: 5-7 hours -Habitat: Montane Forest

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
After breakfast, we leave the glades of the rain forest and continue on an ascending path, crossing the little valley walking along a steep rocky ridge, covered with heather, until the ridge ends. The route now turns west onto a river gorge. Time for rest, dinner, and overnight at the Shira campsite. (1B,1L,1D)
Elevation (m): 3100m to 3840m ,Elevation (ft): 10,200ft to 12,600ft ,Distance: 9km -Walking Time: 4-6 hours ,Habitat: Moorland

Day 4 :Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp.
From the Shira Plateau, we continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As we continue, our direction changes to the South East towards the Lava Tower
Elevation (m): 3840m to 4630m to 3860m ,Elevation (ft): 12,600ft to 12,700ft ,Distance: 15 km -Walking Time: 5-7 hours ,Habitat: Semi-desert

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp
Hike via Great Barranco Wall and the vast alpine desert of Karanga Valley. (1B,1L,1D)
Elevation (m): 4200m to 4600m -Elevation (ft): 13,800ft to 15,100ft ,Distance: 7km -Hiking Time: 5 hours -Habitat: Alpine Desert

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp
Hike during the night to the summit via Stella Point. Watch the sunrise before descending to Mweka Camp. (1B,1L,1D)
Elevation (m): 4600m to 5895m (and down to 3100m) -Elevation (ft): 15,100ft to 19,300ft (and down to 10,200ft)
Distance: 7km ascent / 23km descent -Hiking Time:6- 8 hours ascent / 7-8 hours descent -Habitat: Stone scre and ice-capped summit

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Arusha
Continue descent through forested lower slopes to Arusha Town. (1B,1L,1D)
Elevation (m): 3100m to 1830m -Elevation (ft): 10,200ft to 6000ft -Distance: 15 km -Hiking Time: 3-4 hours -Habitat: Forest

After breakfast, we continue the descent down to the Mweka Park Gate to receive your summit certificates.

At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts will probably be plenty to wear (keep rain gear and warmer clothing handy).
From the gate, continue another hour to Mweka Village. A vehicle will meet you at Mweka village to drive you to Arusha for dinner and overnight at the Hotel

Day 8- Arusha/Lake Manyara National Park
Pick up from your Hotel in Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for morning game viewing, After your game drive in the Park, late afternoon drive to Mto wa mbu for walking evening cultural tour, then learn about the Mto wa Mbu village on a guided cultural walk with lunch. (1B,1L,1D)

Day 9:Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at 0800 hrs drive from Manyara with your packed lunch and game enroute to the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After lunch on your way, proceed with your game drive around Seronera or trace the direction of the migration.
Dinner and Overnight in the Serengeti at Lodge .Sopa Lodge /Similar/ campsite. (1B,1L,1D)

Day 10: Serengeti Southern Area Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast take a packed lunch with you and continue with game viewing on Serengeti Park. The migration can be seen on a long chain approximately 40 Km heading to the south western direction. Around 1230 and 1300 break for your lunch. After lunch have a rest for one hr, then proceed with your game viewing following the move of the migrants on the southwest of the park. Aprox 1.3 million wildebeest, 250,000 gazelles and 200,000 Zebras have been recorded sharing the short grass/ water which is the source of food for the millions of Animals in this South Area. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Lodge/ Tented Camp/ Campsite. FB-(1B, 1L,1D)

Day 11- Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area/Arusha
After breakfast with your packed lunch drive and game enroute to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is your option whether you pass by Oldupai Gorge a historical site whereby the early man lived and can also pass by the Maasai boma if you are interested in the real African life tradition and culture, After your lunch enroute adds to the crater rim for your dinner and overnight Lodge at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge/Sopa Lodge / Campsite-(1B, 1L,1D)

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the crater floor with your lunch box for game viewing. Your packed lunch will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai forest or hippo pool. Late afternoon ascend the crater drive back to Arusha town dinner and overnight at your Hotel.

DAY 13: ARUSHA – AIRPORT – HOME
After breakfast, at leisure in the lodge/ campsite or Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.

Price includes:
- Accommodation on the first night upon your arrival at Meru Simba Lodge
- All Airport transfers as per Itinerary
- Transport to and from mountain gates
- All parks entry fees.
- All camping fees.
- Rescue fees.
- Guide and porters.
- Service of Professional English Speaking driver guide(s).
- Complimentary bottle of drinking water (1.5liters per person per day).
- All accommodations indicated in the Itinerary.
- Cook and all kitchen utensils.
- Activities as stipulated in the itinerary

Price excludes:
- Internation flights and visas (if applicable)
- Hot Air Balloon Ride over Serengeti (Can be arranged at a cost of US$499 per person)
- Hard and soft drinks
- Sleeping bags but we can provide for hire on request.
- All Mountain Gears (we can arrange hire of this)
- Tips to the mountain guide(s), driver guide(s), cook(s) and Porters
- All items of personal nature/use.

NB: you can choose to Climb Kilimanjaro up any route, although the price may vary
