Christmas/New Year Getaways If you are considering a holiday in Africa for Christmas and New Year, you will need to book very soon to avoid disappointment. It is one of the peak seasons and availability in lodges and seats on international flights do get booked up very early. Newly added itineraries
The following itineraries are newly added to our Travel Center this past month : I hope you find them appealing
		Congo River Cruise - DR Congo (Zaire) 21 days: An ultimate Congo experience, a 1750 kilometres voyage from the city of Kisangani to Kinshasa, covering the largest navigable portion of the mighty Congo River. Three or four group departures a year, using an 18-meter long, wooden river cruiser, equipped with two powerful outboard engines. Evenings and nights are spent ashore, enabling cultural exchanges with the local population.
		Congo - The Interior and Pygmy Culture + extension - DR Congo (Zaire) 14 Days: itinerary will take you to the little visited interior of the Congo. We use the rivers, as the locals do, as our highway to explore a truly unique landscape, delving deep into the rainforests, visiting small villages and a people completely untouched from the outside world. Our travels will be challenging, and as foreign tourists extremely pioneering. Also included in the extended itinerary is a visit to Chutes de Lukia, an area with natural lakes to swim in and a Bonobo (pygmy chimp) orphanage, where you can play with the younger chimps.
		Matabeland Walking Safari Tour - Zimbabwe 13 days: A walking safari tour which includes Matobo famous for its rhino, Hwange, a region for fine game walking, Chizarira, a wilderness region not known to many and finally onto the mighty Victoria Falls.
