With the festive season behind us - many of you will now be planning your annual holidays. With this in mind we have decided to dedicate this month's Newsletter to our Travel Center.

If you are considering visiting Africa during July/August September of 2010 then we recommend that you make a booking early in the year, as safari lodges get booked up early in the year during this peak season, particularly in East Africa.

If Africa is your chosen destination for this year's holiday our Travel Center is the perfect place for you to have a browse through to get some ideas and make some enquiries. New Itineraries for 2010

 
Greatest Kenya Wildlife Lodge Safari - Kenya
10 days: This safari will take you to some of the best wild life parks in Kenya. Your stay will also be in some of the finest lodges. Walk with the animals on a ranch in Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara and Amboseli. You are likely to see abundant wild animals, including the lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and even the rare Bongo.
 
Amboseli and Masai Mara Lodge Safari - Kenya
7 days: This safari follows the world-famous Serena lodges chain of hotels and lodges to offer you a chance to experience the finest of hospitality and wild life viewing. You visit Amboseli National park, Aberdares National park, Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Some of the wild animals you are likely to see are the lion, elephant, rhino, cheetah, ostrich and buffalo
   
Fly-in Kenya Lodge Safari - Kenya
8 days: lodge safari where you fly into 3 of Kenya’s fabulous game reserves – Amboseli, Samburu and Maasai Mara. By flying instead of driving, your comfort is enhanced and time is saved.
 
Discover the Wilds of North Kenya - Kenya
7 days: This is a bumper lodge safari covering all of Kenya’s widely known game viewing areas. After 2 nights at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, you drive north to spend 1 night on the foot of Mount Kenya before moving further north to Samburu game reserve. You then begin your descend to the Aberdare National park, and southwards to Nakuru and Maasai Mara. Flights are added on some routes to enhance your comfort.

Volunteer in an Orphanage in Cape Town - South Africa
14 days: This volunteer project is in the heart of a township just outside Stellenbosh and only 45 minutes from Cape Town city centre. The project involves volunteering with children from birth to 8 years old who have been orphaned. Volunteers will be involved in implementing an educational program which focuses on fun, interactive activities in an informal environment.
 
Marine Conservation Internship in the Seychelles - Seychelles
35 days: By joining this internship you will join a research team and learn the skills required to study coral reefs and turtles in the Indian Ocean. You will work alongside a dedicated staff supervisor to ensure you maximise your placement, cultural and learning activities.
 
Volunteer on a Sports Project in South Africa - South Africa
14 days: Volunteers will be teaching children a range of different sports including football, netball, cricket, tennis, athletics and rugby in townships that surround the beautiful city of Cape Town. The aim is for you to assist teachers and our staff to run sports programs at the schools and to give more personal attention to the students.

2010 FIFA World Cup

The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the most popular event taking place in Africa during 2010. It is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa.

If you are planning on visiting South Africa to see the World Cup it would be the ideal opportunity to combine it with seeing a little of the country and its wildlife.
