What position at a hospital will prepare me for medical coding? - 12 years ago

What position at a hospital will prepare me for medical coding? I'm working at a hospital as an admitting representative now. I want to become a coder. If there aren't any entry level positions in HIM, what other departments should I consider? When they hired me, they said the hospital would pay for medical billing certification (I didn't ask about coding). ============= medical coding...

My father-in-law passed away this weekend at 58 years old. He established a will in 1981 designating his wife (now ex-wife) as the beneficiary followed by his children. Re: Marathon camps - 13 years ago

The most important thing new runners need to do is not increase your mileage too fast. It will feel good and you can run much farther, but you must stay on the plan and not jump up too far too soon. Walk around for 8 to 10 minutes after each run and then stretch well. It is okay to skip a day if you don't feel well. ___________________________ Hotel Italy|Apartments Italy...

Re: Holidays in Morocco - 13 years ago

Morocco is definitely safe. I was there last year for 6 weeks and had no problems at all. If you can get the chance try to visit Ifrane, its a beautiful little city in the Upper Atlas Mountain region, but well worth the trip. Make sure you pack for heat. Most of the year its pretty hot, but the evenings cool down quite a bit. Rabat is a great city and you should get pretty familiar with it ( the ...

Re: export fish to Africa. - 13 years ago

Africans feeding Americans - it sounds like one whopper of a fish tale. Africa remains a continent of episodic starvation and chronic food shortages; tens of millions of sub-Saharan Africans are unable to reliably and consistently feed themselves. But these imbalances coexist with pockets of increasingly vibrant commercial farming throughout much of the continent. "Africans are starting t...

Travelling from South Africa to Kenya? - 13 years ago

I'm going to Africa for the summer. I'm starting off in South Africa and travelling up to kenya. I'm aiming to leave johannesburg after the world cup - around the 11th/12th of July and heading up to Niarobi, where I am planning a safari and kili climb. Flights between the two parts seem very expensive (even keeping the world cup in mind) and I'm wondering what would be the best way to travel? See...
