Travelling in Kenya

I've lived with my family in Kenya for 2 years and we would like to go back for safaris.

We don't want to go with some tour or something, i've seen that they rent 4x4 WD Landcruisers, but i can't find any place were i can hire tents and other stuff to go into the bush. Does anyone know what the possibilities our to hire the right equipment? Thanks!!

Hope this isn't too late.

My husband and I have camped in Kenya on two occasions now. On both occasions we rented a Land Rover from Wildways. They are based in Karen and rent fully equipped Land Rovers (ie. all camping gear included).

Your booking includes a day's training etc.. to make sure that you are prepared for every eventuality.
