Need a Fully Furnished Apartment in Westlands for 2 months.

My Sister and I will be in Kenya on January 15 and need a 1 or 2 bedroom furnished apartment. We will be volunteering on Lower Kabete road so would like something around there or on the matatu route 118 or 119. Our budget is 30,000 KSH per month and we will need the apartment untill March 15th. Please contact me if you know of any such places. A furnished SQ is also good. Thank you!

Hi , am albert and happen to live along lower kabete rd.where are u volunteering?its a bit hard to get apartments along lower kabete, but will ask a friend if his guest wing is free.Otherwise, u may have to get one in westlands, which is not too far away..and u can use the 118 / 119 matatus.i will check for u the rates.last i checked it was abt 30-35k but this was like last yr so am not sure.

hope yu r having a fab holiday.well i checked with my friend who unfortunately has given his out today..arrrgh imagine that.!!

I found several but guys are charging deposits and downpayments, yet they are just agents.I dont think it would be wise to give anyone money till u r sure what u ar dealing with.and pls beware of some pple who jus take advantage.but guess what?..all is not lost.I got these guys..check it out.

i just don have info on their charges.maybe u can call and chek with them.At the worst, if its not working for u, then i will hit the ground next week and check one more place i have in mind.

Thank you soooo much for all your help! it is so difficult to sort this out when away from Kenya. The Gables looks really nice but quite pricey. I am afraid to go with an "agent" as I have heard they often do not have the right to actually lease the place, so they just take you there and show you the place for money. Thank you so much again, I really do appreciate it.
Anything around the Business University could work as well, 2 bedrooms I would spend up to 40,000 a month (fully furnished). Please let me know what you find, thanks Albert!

Yes agents are not usually good.some are genuine though..but u would not know the difference since u r far away.hey mail me on the 'send me an email link' ....we need to discuss the options for things to move fast.don worry.am sure we'll get some thing sorted out.

the problem with the university area is that the houses are single family homes and not apartments.am like 200m from it.!!u can get a house in that area but not furnished.westlands is like the only good option for your case.its not far really. plus u get to use matatus and experience our everyday life...lol.fare will be like 30sh one way and 500sh by cab.i hope u have factored stuff like food and upkeep etc..jus checkin

If you are staying for two months and need fully furnished apartment you will have two pay a one month advance deposit.If you have Kshs.40,000 you can get a fully furnished one bedroom in westlands or a guest wing

Two month deposit? I am not so sure about that. Where exactly are you talking about? Thank you for your help,

How are you? I do have shared accomodation in westlands. The rent is Kshs 35,000 per month for a room. The lounge ,kitchen is shared. Internet is also available.
