Turkey to Egypt and back overland.

Hi I'm a 62 year old female traveller, and although I am pretty well travelled in Europe, I would like to visit Turkey,Syria,Jordan and Egypt. I don't fly, so this will be quite a trek for me. I'm used to bussing,boating and train all over Europe, but this will be something different for me. I hope to make the trip sometime in 2009, and wondered if there was another like minded woman/man out there who would like to make the (budget) trip with me.Have to be no smoking i'm afraid, like a glass of wine though!!.

Hi Thanks for your message trobo. I've just got back from 5 weeks in Greece and Bulgaria, but still haven't made it to Turkey etc yet. Let me know a bit more about yourselves, where are you from?. I'm still planning to travel again in June this year. Serena.
