Places to visit in Africa

Hi all,
I have a plan to go there in Africa with my family and want to know about the total budget for a family of 3. I also want to know about the best beaches and resorts in Africa. I'm there in the end of November. Is November is good for travelling. Something about the weather in Nov, shopping malls and good hill stations.

Africa is such a vast continent and information, prices, things to do and the climate etc. varies from one country to the next.
