The most important thing new runners need to do is not increase your mileage too fast.
It will feel good and you can run much farther, but you must stay on the plan and not jump up too far too soon.
Walk around for 8 to 10 minutes after each run and then stretch well.
It is okay to skip a day if you don't feel well.
