zimbabwe birth certificate

I need to get a birth certificate - I was born in harare in 1968.
Can any one help or offer some advice on how to do this. I've had no luck with the embassy here in the uk

write to the zim home office in harare. they'll print you one and post it off to you. you'll get the home office number from the embassy in uk

i am also trying to get a birth certificate from zimbabwe but i cant seem to find the address for the home office in zimbabwe.Can anyone give it to me please.Could anyone also tell me if the home office in Harare sends the birth certificates for free or do you have to pay an admin fee?thank you

I have lost my Zimbabwean birth certificate and I do not have a record of the number. Can I still apply for a copy of the birth certificate even though I only know the date and place of birth and not the registration number? I am in London.

For all those who need new/replacement birth certificates, new passport enquiries, my advice is that you contact the Zimbabwean Embassy in your country. You can get the best answer from them not just anyone. If you are in UK call Zimbabwean High Commission on 0207 836 7755

Any information you need they are the best to ask.

hi there,

i've been trying to get hold of a replacement birth certificate. but with no luck. i contacted the embassy in harare (00 263 4 702295) and talk to someone who dealt with birth, marrage and death certificates. thay told me to send $50 and the nessasery information, and within 4 weeks i would get a replacement certificate.

its been over 9 weeks now and when i try to ring the embassy, ether i get no answer or they put the phone down on me.

i really need a replacement certificate as i would like to be a full british citizen and not just a british national. which i need to be in order to get a british passport.

can anyone help or give some great advice

Get hold of Bunny Hop [info@bunnyhop.co.za] if you have you entry number from your original BC and they will sort you out for 150 U$. They did my sisters with no problems.

If you dont have a reference as with me then get hold of Annette Yeatman on[annetteyeatman@bigpond.com] and she will sort you out for 200 pounds. I had to use her and got my BC on Tuesday this week after 6 months of hassles.

I urgently need birth & marriage certificates for myself & mother, but do not habe an birth entry number for my mother, Have been in contact with bunnyhop. They say they are able to obtain my birth certificates & mothers marriage certificate but are unable to obtain mothers birth certificate because there is no birth entry number. I needed to get my birth certificate, and after many attempts i came across Inside Africa Foundation, they were really helpfull and i got my bith cert in 2 weeks. I can really recommmed any one trying to get something out of Zimbabwe to go through them.
