relocating in uganda

Hi,

I am an IT professional currently located in New Zealand (originally from the UK). I am planning to relocate to Uganda with my wife and family as soon as I can find work.

Has anyone any suggestions where I should start? Is it easy to find IT work in Uganda? What are the best places to look for IT work? I am open to full-time or part-time or contract work.

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions you can provide.

f your CV is very good then you can get work in uganda , though i would advice that you start some thing of your own when you come here , the fact is that the rate of unemployment is too high but as they say if you are comng here with and you already know some one who can connect you then its a very good country to stay in as long as you stay away from politics am currently in kampala

I have just read your post now and hoped to give you a simple reply.
I am Ugandan and live in Uganda, so trust me on this.
First if you are thinking of relocating to Uganda, you should get to make friends first then if you hope to find work in IT here yo will certainly find one since the IT sector is one of the best performers in the Ugandan Economy today.
My only advise would be for you to start something of your own.
Trust me if you do this, you will thank me in the very short future.
