Hi, I am going start traveling Mozambique beginning 1st August. I will start in Maputo, heading up North passing Xai-Xai, Inhambane, Vilankulos, Chimoio, Tete and then enter Malawi.
If anybody of you has information about Roads and transport means I would be grateful to receive information. I plan to travel by bus and if possible hitch-hike. Thus I need information about situation how good roads are, if there is steady traffic, if people are asking to pay for a ride, if bus transport is available and if yes what it costs (more or less). Moreover, I would be interested if buses usually are very crowded.
