My husband & I Are looking to rent an apartment in Essaouira ( medina)for 6 months, Idealy it should have 2 bedrooms, Kitchen, Salon, Terrace, Bathroom, T.V. & Telephone.Nothing fancy, but should have a homely feel I have looked on the internet at many properties but they all seem geared towards the tourist market and quite expensive for a long term let. We would like to pay around £350 but no more, I would be grateful to hear of any property that is available from late February.
We are going to buy a property in Essaouira but until we do we will need an inexpensive place to rent.

i have a house in the heart of the medina. it is divided into 4 apartments. I rent to holiday makers the 1st and 2nd floors. however, the apartment i normally reside in (on the terrace) will be available as i will be away for periods of time and wish to let it out.

I am looking to sell the house, but it may take time. i cannot guarantee 6 months in total..but it may be possible.
I can rent the apartment for £350.00 per month.

the apartment consists of 1 dble room / 1 office (could be 2nd bedroom) kitchen with oven. it has satellite tv / internet connection etc...it also has 2 small private terraces.

I am looking at maybe starting a small business there and am coming over to do alot of looking around and even more homework. I will also be looking at building a house around the sidi kaouki area on my partners land. Do you have any available accomodation for those dates? am I too late?its so hard to get something sorted out from this side of the world. Hi everybody, I am looking for 2 or 3 different possibilities:
1) a house or apartment for My family (my wife and I our teenage daughter and 2 little ones 4&5yrs old)So this could be a 2 or 3 bedroom. Ideally it will have internet so I can work from there but not necc.
2) a large house or apartment that could sleep up to 10 or more, as we may have a second family come with us.
3) a building that has a few apartments on different floors or some how close or attached to one another, so we can accomodate multiple friends and family.

Our time period could be anywhere from Mid May 09 to Mid Aug 09

I was really disappointed when I looked on line as everything was so expensive. We are looking for more of a realistic price. My wife is an artist who specializes in Henna and I am a musician who has a business building websites and graphic design.

I play Moroccan music and she is a Henna artist, thus are love affair with and reasons for wanting to come spend time in Essaouira.
