buying property in essaouira

does anyone know what small appartment prices are in Essaouira? minimum of 2 bedrooms, preferably 3 or 4. I love gardening so somewhere with some space would be nice, walking distance (or petit taxi) to the medina would also be ideal.

I'm happy to make renovations, I would prefer to do this rather than buy a new modern place. I prefer traditional moroccan style.

A very worthwhile acquisition is the book 'Buying a House in Morocco' by Abby Aron. It tells you everything you need to know. A very good agent in Essaouira is Monsieur Azzedine on 0021272523330. (Hope this number is still correct.) His offices are on Rue Skala just along from Bar Taros. As he knows everyone, he gets much better prices than any of the other agents. You will deal with one of two notaries in Essaouira if you purchase. Nouredine is much much better than Maitre Ali! Prices in Essaouira have gone up enourmously in the last 12 months. To get an idea of prices look at the Kariomo website. Remember that most riads will need doing up and that they will cost almost the same again. If you need a builder, Regragui (contact of M. Azzedine) is wonderful. Good luck!

the time i discovered essaouira, i had a real contact with a local poeple than i did start to do my job as a chef and director of my company, we did many riad and country houses too so try to have some slide from us 00212 67967201

I have a villa with land for sale in the high atlas mountains. Its so beautiful there and tourism is starting to come there to now. This villa is not far from Tin Mal which is 100 kil, from Marrakeshe. Let me know if you want pics and more information.
