Divorce and Moroccan

I (Male Brit citizen) married a Moroccan (female Maroc citizen) and we want to get a divorce in UK (we married in Maroc) and have lost the marriage certificate. We both live in UK so what do we do?
Am I right in saying that we BOTH need to be present in Morocco to acquire the certificate or can she collect on her own from the courts in Morocco? we ned the cert to get divorce in UK. I have heard that we both need to be there to acquire the certificate.
