I am 18 years old and i'm going to spend about a month in Senegal in April 2006, during my gap year. I would like to do some voluntary work there, and am hoping to use the opportunity to improve my French as i will be going to university later on in that year to study French and Spanish.
I am interested in doing active work outdoors, maybe conservation work, or working with people. I specialize in music so i would be happy to take part in any music projects. I haven't had much luck finding work yet, as most companies want you to pay money to do work, which i don't think is right. i would be happy to stay with a senegalese family and pay for general household expenditures and food of course.
