Mess system

heloo,
can u give me info of cost of living in mauritius as i got a job in ministry of help n quality of life as a doc with accomodation n travelin allowaance .is there a dabba system for food n how much will it cost me.

Congratulation for a start . you got a job here in mauritius .

Cost of living is a little more than india , like a bread + chicken costs about 20 mauritian rupees in a small shop.

The ministry of health will look after most accomodation and travelling allowances. in fact many indians work in mauritius ,in hospitals and they like it mostly .

Yes there is a mess system. Each hospital has a mess system where doctors can eat , drink. play games. The one at victoria hospital is very good.

in which hospital will you be working mr balam swamy ?
