Honeymoon hotels in Mauritius-HELP!

Hi all,

Im getting married in Decmber and we will be going to Mauritius for our Honeymoon.

There are so many hotels its confusing! We will be looking to travel around the first or second week of Jan 06. Can anybody help with some information as to which part of Mauritius would be good for that time of year and which hotels are suitable for honeymooners.

I would really appreciate some feedback as im now totally lost with where to book.

also is it better to book with the hotels direct or do it as a package?

go to the north or west coast,
there is less rain than on the east coast.

from my country, it is cheaper to book a package if I go in a hotel

and le meridien , is amongst the best choice.....
