I am a Civil engineer and applying for a job in the Ministry of Finanace, Govt. of Mauritius with salary around M RS.40,000 plus transport allowance of M RS. 6000 amd a quarter or a house rent of 15000. Is this amount sufficient for a comfortable living in Mauritius.
Further my two sons aged reapectively 15 and 14 who are studying in India in Xth and IX th class, what would be the cost of further schooling in Mauritius.
Would be grateful for your kind reply.

i will say without any reserve that the cost of living has increased a whole lot lately.
but you will be living a very comfortable lifestyle here with this money
this is a job that can make you get the nationality
