Living in Malawi

I am moving to Malawi to teach in an International school in Blantyre. Any information about the town and the surrounding area, including things to see and get up to in the mountains would be greatly appreciated.

You will love Malawi, the Warm Heart of Africa. We are very friendly. Blantyre is not so busy a city. Obviously you will enjoy visiting lake Malawi and mountain climbing.

However, to be frank our hotel rates are a bit high. There are plans already to remove some of the taxes in the tourism industry.
