"Currency implications"
Posted by sueakagan on Mar-28-08 at 04:06 PM (GMT)
12 months ago the exchange rate was 16Dh to the UK£, Today it has fallen to 14.50Dh, I am wondering what implications will this have for tourism in Morocco.
Coupled with a slowdown in the UK house market, my concern is for Europeans that have recently purchased property for holiday rentals, and now worry about competition, finding paying guests and the falling value of the UK£
Although my home is in Morocco, I am not in this situation as my business is not tourism dependant, but would like to hear how it effects others.
Fore warned is fore armed
Sue
