| Children of 3 and under go free. We do not have cots for babies however. Area is safe and suitable and peace calm and serenity abounds but also important to advise that Public holiday wknds tend to be noisy affairs & bar will be busy late late. |

Description
Located on the shores of Cape Maclear, Gecko Lounge has a Bar & Restaurant with a growing reputaions for the biggest parties and the best food on the lakeshore - we also have 2 x lake view private chalets that are en-suite with kitchen facilities & have private verandas, hammock & braii areas - they come with a double bed and bunk bed so can sleep 4 people for a total of $90 ($50 for single, $70 for a double and the a further $10 per head for 3rd and 4th person).
We also have a $10 a bed Shared accommodation room which has 5 x bunk beds, 1 x single and a shower and toilet - again with veranda and lake view. This can be booked for private hire should people wish to as long as a minimum of $40 is paid for the room.
We have a variety of activities and services for guests such as water sports like wake-boarding & skiing, hiking and treks in the hills, Wi-fi internet, laptop hire & skyband access cards, DVD player and film hire, assistance and advice on boat trips, diving, kayaks, mountain bikes, transport to and from the cape & we have DSTV & Big screen TV for movie nights and sporting events.
Of course this is also complemented by our fantastic veranda viewing deck to watch the cape sunsets with Malawi G&T in hand as chilled tunes fill the airwaves and all you can feel is that everything is right in the world.

Pricing Details
Chalets - $50 pnpp single, $70 per night per couple ($35pp), 3rd or 4th person is an extra $10 per head.
Dorm - $10 a head and $40 minimum to reserve for private hire (subject to discretion of manager due to time of season).
