Volunteer work with desert elephants in
Namibia Track, study and research desert elephants in a
beautiful remote area of Namibia. Volunteers will spend days out in the desert
on patrol, camping wild and living close to the earth, elephants and people.
The majority of the work is with the local subsistence farmers, building
protective walls around their water points, and teaching them the skills needed

community work. Based on an exotic peninsula in Kenya bordering the
Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, you will divide your time between the
island of Wasini, Shimoni village, and satellite camps on the borders of
National Parks including world famous Tsavo National Park (on an inland big
game programme with the Kenyan Wildlife Service.) Expedition members work

lakes provide water, medicines, natural products and cultural identity, as well
as refuge to flora and fauna of considerable conservation concern.
