Description
Southern Comfort Lodge is built with your comfort in mind. It consists of 6 twin rooms with bathroom en suite, overlooking beautiful gardens and a small lake. There is an abundance of bird life,a bird watchers paradise!Each room has television, fans and heaters for the different seasons, tea and coffee facilities.In the evening you can join your hosts Craig and Lesley for a sundowner in the Sneaky Rat bar before moving onto a sumptuous 3 course meal prepared by our chef's. In the mornings a full English breakfast to start your day.Southern Comfort has safe parking for vehicles with a guard from 6pm - 6am. The lodge is ideally situated for visiting the Matobo National Park a World Heritage site for the black and white rhino. It has an abundance of rock cave paintings and has the highest concentration of breeding raptors in the world.Hwange National Park is 2 1/2 hours away with abundant wildlife and boasts of the big five! Further is Victoria Falls one of the seven wonders of the world.Airport transfers are available on request.So come stay with us you won't regret it!
How To Find Us
From the main Johannesburg rd, entering Bulawayo,
first set of traffic lights (robots) turn left on to
Cecil ave, next set of traffic lights turn left on
to Old Esgodini Rd, continue past CBC school lights
third road turn left onto Marimba rd (signpost)2nd
rd right onto Jaywick rd (signpost)continue until
big yellow sign, hoot for attention.
