Description
ONCE UPON A TIME... On December 31st 1997, a teenage dream of opening a bar in Dar with a mixed crowd and a laid back atmosphere became real. Along with that bar, a small, unassuming guesthouse opened, 12 rooms in all. Comfortable, relaxed and with a casual homeliness, QBar has maintained the same welcoming character for a decade. Today it is slightly bigger (there are 20 rooms and 2 bars) with 61 members of staff. Q-Bar is located on the Msasani Peninsula. The rooms all have air conditioning, mozzie netted windows and ensuite bathrooms. A couple of the rooms are seriously large whilst others are regular sized (large enough to swing a cat in). Standard and Executive rooms have refrigerators, Safe's and satellite tv. The 6 bed Backpacker room has none of the fancy extras but does have air conditioning and private lockers. By the way, all private rooms are inclusive of breakfast!!
