Description
BONGO CAMPING, TANZANIA
Bongo camping site near Tukuyu Town, in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, is run by the registered NGO Kikundi cha Utalii Mbeya. The campingsite has all camping facilities included tents.
The camping site helps us to finance our educational programmes. We work with AIDS, Enviroment, and Global knowledge exchange. We also have an art group, registered at the culture office, passing messages about AIDS through the use of art. We like to invite our camping guests to see our activities on close hand, which is possible right at the camping site.
How To Find Us
Arriving from Malawi we are 50 km from the border, and 4 km after Tukuyu Town, within one km from the mainroad. Arriving from Mbeya city, we are 50 km ahead by the mainroad to Malawi border. Our signposts say BONGO CAMPING.
Pricing Details
With own tent: 4000 Tanzanian shillings / 4 USD
Rented tent: 6000 Tanzanian shillings / 6 USD Youth under the age of 30: Half the normal price.
