Description
Beside the beautiful nature, the sea and the beach, West Africa has a lot to offer in the human dimension that has been largely lost in Western society.
Simplicity, joyfulness, friendliness, a zest for life and a relaxed attitude stem from living at the basic level of existence. Inviting you to experience this for yourself during your beach holidays in our hotel in Africa.
The Maye Meye accommodation is situated at the edge of the village of Abene, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Africa and close to the sea. The accommodation don’t offer luxury, you will in fact go back to basics, but we do offer a relaxed atmosphere, warm and caring service, excellent food and an enthusiastic crew.

Accommodation rooms
The accommodation has four rooms, one of which has its own shower and toilet, the others share sanitation. There is a choice between single or double beds. We have running water and are working on electricity by way of a solar panel.
How To Find Us
Transfer from the airport in Banjul, Gambia.
We will make arrangements for one of hotel staff to pick you up from the airport in Banjul. A taxicab will take you to the hotel in approximately two hours. The price for the taxi will range from €60,- to €80,-. It fluctuates because of gasoline prices and border taxes. (subject to change without notice)
