Description
Montanha Lodge offers comfortable and spacious accommodation in 2-4, 4-6 or 6-8 sleeper chalets. The lodge is fully furnished and equipped for all your self-catering requirements. In addition, there is a restaurant and pub - the swimming pool will be completed by December 2009. The units are serviced daily, have a security guard in the evenings and have drinkable borehole water, gas and 24 hour electricity. Slight sea views are visible from the upper deck of the double storey chalets. Local vendors visit the lodge daily with a supply of produce and curios of offer – these range from fresh fruits of the sea (prawns, crayfish, fish, and langoustine) as well as freshly baked local bread/rolls and seasonal fruits and vegetables, sarongs and artwork. Montanha Lodge's chalets and casita's are tastefully decorated and comprise the following: 2-4 Sleeper Casitas have 1 en-suite bedroom, open plan kitchen/lounge with 2 sleeper beds in lounge area and a deck. 4-6 Sleeper Casitas have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen/lounge with 2 sleeper beds in lounge area and deck 6-8 Sleeper Chalets have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen/lounge, dining room, 2 decks and a carport RATES:

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Please bring own beach/bath towels, braai grid and utensils, garbage bags, toilet rolls, mosquito/insect repellant and housekeeping cleaning materials (dishwash liquid, handy andy, dishcloths, etc). Please be advised that a 4x4 or 2x4 vehicle with diff lock is required as we are situated on 2.5km of very sandy road (approximately 200m from the beach).
How To Find Us
From Maputo, continue on main road North to Xai-Xai. Follow signboards to Inhambane. From Inhambane, follow signboards to Tofo. At the cross roads at Barbalaza Restaurant continue straight to Barra. After approximately 7kms, turn right onto sandy road (look for Montanha Lodge sign board). Deflate your tyres to 1 bar at this point. Continue on sandy road for approx 2.5kms. Montanha Lodge is situated on the left hand side.
