Description

The Wheelhouse ' A Little Piece Of Paradise'

We are situated at Kambiri Point, Senga Bay 125km from Lilongwe. We cater for all travelers and visitors with  naturally picturesque surroundings, lush lawns, 3 secluded beaches and many shady trees with a wide variety of bird life and vervet monkeys and our own resident family of Fish Eagles. We are also one of the few places from which you can watch the sun rise and sunset.

What We Have To Offer

We have a vastly lawned and well shaded campsite  over looking the lake with hot and cold showers and built in Braai areas.

For those requiring a little more comfort we offer Tented Accommodation which have a proper bed in them and these are situated in our campsite.

Our ' Top House' built up on the rocks has 3 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large lounge, dinning room, kitchen and a sun lounge with stunning views of the lake. This is very popular with families and big groups as can sleep up to 18 people. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering purposes.

The ' Cottage' located right on its own private beach, has one bedroom, shower and toilet and lounge/ dinning area. This is also equipped for self catering and can sleep up to 3 people.

The ' Rondavel' located above our natural rockery is one room that can sleep up to 4 people. It does not have a bathroom ensuite at present.

We are in the process of building 6 chalets all with bathroom ensuite and a verandah looking straight out at the lake.

' Starlite Restraunt '

Situated right on the shore at present is an unfinished building but should be complete by the end of the year. Our kitchen is open from 6am to 10pm daily, serving a variety of well priced meals. Eaten in any location of your choice.

' The Wheelhouse '

Our unique and famous circular bar built over the water offers a wide range of drinks and is open 7 days a week.
