Karibu at Marijani Holiday Resort!

We are situated in the small fishing village Watamu, about 100 metres far from the beach, left hand. Coming from Mombasa it is about 80 kilometres north direction and 30 kilometres before reaching Malindi town. If you are coming from Mombasa to Watamu by Matatu, in Mombasa you take the bus/matatu at Kibondeni Market, direction to Malindi. At Gede junction you drop and take Matatu to Watamu, End station "Mama Lucy's Supermarket". From there you walk 400 metres down the beach way, direction to the beach. Some of our 12 comfortable double rooms have their own kitchens, so that you can choose between bed and breakfast and room with a kitchen corner.

All rooms have their own bathrooms and fridges, you don't have to share with other guests. We have ceiling fans, hot and cold water, mosquito nets and hudge four poster beds. You can relax on a divani bed at your veranda in front of your guestroom or on a sundbed in our garden.  If you like, you can try "african body building" at our special fitness place. We have international guests, Kenyans as well like to enjoy their holiday at our resort. Our Kenyan-German team is supported by our grey parrots coming from Germany, 4 watchdogs, some smart housetigers and a couple of tortoises. For groups up to 6 people we have a separate familiy house which can be rented with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Breakfast for our bed and breakfast guests is served at our "open air" breakfast veranda upstairs or at your private veranda. On special request we can provide you also with dinner.

How To Find Us

From Watamu end station of Matatu (Mama Lucy's Supermarket") follow the Beach Way down, direction to the beach. Pass "Francis Corner Shop" and follow the road straight, pass some European houses, we are situated near to the Watamu Beach, left hand of the Beach Way (behind former African Safari Club)

Pricing Details

Single rooms between 1800 (simple style) to 2500 ksh per day, double room between 2000 (sleeping only) and 3000 ksh per day. Familie rates on request depending on accommodation style.
