Description

You will appreciate the calm and the elegance of that large Riad which has just been renovated. Enjoy a plunge pool in the Patio in the shadow of the Orange trees or relax in the traditional hamam after an exciting shopping day in the Souks.
There is also a large terrace with a solarium and a lounge area and you can have a dip in the terrace Jacuzzi in the warm days. You will enjoy the view on the Atlas Mountains or all around the Riad, the roofs of the old Medina of Marrakech. (Unfortunately due to the configuration of the Riad and for safety reason, kids are not allowed under 4)The Bedrooms

The Riad Karmela offers four standards bedrooms (double bas or two single beds), two Junior Suites nicely decorated with their own chimneys (one has also a private balcony). If you travel with your family or with friends why not stay in one of the two apartments. They both have separate bedrooms and can both accommodate up to 5 people .

Ground Floor :
Standard rooms
Habib. Standard room in the Patio, painted in light purple and walls made of local traditional tadelakte. You will find two singles beds (can also be one double bed) , one large cupboard for storage. The very large original wooden doors with traditional handles. Two windows with view on the patio, en suite bathroom with shower and toilets, Air conditioning and heating.

Zora : Second standard room in the Patio, painted in Red and yellow, wooden painted ceiling as well. and local traditional tadelakte. You will find one double bed and one single bed, one wardrobe for storage. Very large original wooden doors with traditional handles. Two windows with view on the patio, in front of the plunge pool and the fountain, en suite bathroom with shower and toilets. Air conditioning and heating.

First floor
Standard rooms
Laila : Standard room on the first floor, painted in light yellow . You will find two singles beds (can also be double bed) , one large wardrobe for storage. Three large windows with view on the patio, right in front of the Plunge pool. En suite bathroom with shower and toilets. Air conditioning and heating.
Aicha : Standard room on the first floor, painted in light blue. You will find one king size bed (160x200) , Two large cupboards for storage. Two large windows with view on the patio. En suite bathroom with shower and toilets. Air conditioning and heating.

Junior Suites
Kaiss : The largest Junior Suite. You enter the room through a private balcony with a view on the patio, the plunge pool and the orange trees. Large old wooden doors to enter the balcony. The suite is painted in deep red and yellow … You will find a large bed in cedar wood, same as the cupboard and wardrobe. You will also relax in the seating area in front of the Chimney (banquette can be used as single bed). Two large windows view on the balcony and patio. En suite large bathroom with a proper bath, two hand wash basins, toilets. Air conditioning and heating.
Al Mansour Large Suite with light green colour. Double bed and one (or two single beds) to accommodate a family of 3 or 4 . Large cupboard for storage, two windows with view on the patio and the plunge pool. En suite bathroom with shower, toilets. Air conditioning and heating.

The 2 apartments
You travel with your family or with friends….
The Douhria is called Oum kaltoum. In the first very large room you will find a double bed and a single bed. Then, you enter a lounge area going to the second separate bedroom with a double bed and have also access to a private terrace (12 m2) only for you …You also have a bathroom with shower and toilets. It is really ideal for friends as the bedrooms are really separate. We can accommodate 5 people. You will also have a book section, Television with satellite channels and DVD . Air conditioning and heating.

Harroune, is not so vast but ideal for a family as the three rooms are successive. The first room has two seating banquettes (can be single beds) and a satellite TV and DVD’s. In the second room, there are two single beds ( can be one double bed) then in the third room, one double bed. Also private bathroom with shower. Air conditioning and heating.

How To Find Us

We strongly recommend arranging for you to be met at the airport, as most of the taxis that YOU would take at the airport might leave you far away from the Riad….. You also need to give your flight number. When there are delays we can track your flight .Be kind to inform the Riad for any serious delay of your flight. transfer takes about 15-20 minutes and the cost is 15 Euros up to 3 people, 20 4 people 25 above 5 up to 10.This will be paid at the Riad so you do not need any Local money when landing. The driver will wait at the exit of the airport with a sign KARMELA/ El Nour. (Stay inside the Airport. at the exit)

Pricing Details

We have standard rooms from 90 Euros up to 130 euros per night breakfast included ( twin, double or triple ones), we have suites up to 3 people at 150 euros per night breakfast included, and appartments for up to 5 people at 220 euros per night breakfast included.please contact the riad directly as there is occasional promotions and different rates' seasons.
