Blackheath Lodge is easy to find. And a treat when you find it. Our guest house is conveniently situated on Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard, right under Signal Hill, and just off High Level Road, Three Anchor Bay – Sea Point.But enough about our geography.

We’re just a stone’s throw away from the happening city centre of Cape Town as well as the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town’s shopping Mecca. We’re also close to the famous beaches of the Atlantic Seaboard, Clifton & Camps Bay, which are just around the corner.

Blackheath Lodge was built back in the 1880's, which helps to explain our Victorian design, spacious interiors, high ceilings and wooden floors. And has more recently been renovated and enhanced with touches of unique eclectic African style and charm. This revamped Victorian guest house is a home away from home for holiday and business travellers alike, who all have one thing in common - a desire for exceptional service, incredible surroundings, generous comfort and style.

The guesthouse has ten luxury air-conditioned / heated en suite rooms. All of which are stylishly designed, with extra-length king size and/or twin beds and elegant private en-suite bathrooms. For your added comfort, convenience and satisfaction, every room has a well-stocked mini-bar, wireless broadband connection, satellite television, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.

So come home to a sundowner next to the pool after a busy day of sightseeing or power business dealings. Safe in the knowledge that a quiet, comfortable night’s sleep awaits you. If you don’t have your laptop, you can enjoy surfing the net and checking your emails in the guest study. We also provide early morning check-in and late check-out services – so there’s no need to worry about wasted time. You can arrive early, freshen up after an exhausting flight, take a shower in our guest facility, have breakfast and enjoy the full day feeling refreshed. You can also use the guest facility on your departure day at no extra cost, prior to flying out late at night.

And when the mercury drops and the evenings start to feel a little chilly, curl up next to the open fireplace in the living room. We make an incredible cup of hot chocolate. Our breakfasts are also legendary. Our chef, wakes up before the sun every morning to bake breakfast quiches and homemade muffins, which are hot, fresh, delicious and served with butter, jam and honey. Or if you’d simply like a full English or Continental breakfast, just let us know.

Other basic services available on request include a full laundry service, private door-to-door airport transfers and car rental. And we have off street parking and an on street security office, so no worries where parking is concerned.

We’d also be delighted to provide dinner (on request), or a picnic for those days on the beach or walks up the mountain. Whatever it takes to make your stay in gorgeous Cape Town even more memorable.

How To Find Us

How to reach Blackheath Lodge from Cape Town International Airport:
Exit the airport and follow the signs for Cape Town (travel along the N2).
Continue along the N2 and follow signs indicating “City” then "Waterfront" and later “Sea Point”.
At the end of Table Bay Boulevard, be sure to follow direction boards to Sea Point, turning right onto Western Boulevard.
Travel along the boulevard and as soon as you see the Ocean, merge left, turn left at the traffic lights into Three Anchor Bay Road, continue over the intersection of Main Road into Glengariff Road, then turn right just before the next traffic lights into Blackheath Road.
Look for number 6, and that's US!
