The tastefully furnished cliff-top cottages (some ensuite) provide a unique view along the peninsula, to Chilumba island and across Lake Malawi to the magnificent Livingstonia mountain range in Tanzania.

The Sanctuary is run on eco-friendly principles; power is provided by solar panels and inverters providing lights, music and 240v sockets for guests' needs. "Airconditioning" is provided by careful planning of buildings and windows to make the most of lake breezes. There is cellphone coverage should you really feel the need to communicate with the outside world! We are committed to making your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible at a price that won't strain your budget.

We are found close to Lion's point on Sangilo Peninsula which is along M1 between Chitimba and Chilumba, 80 km south of Karonga, 150km
north of Mzuzu, when you see our sign you have to walk,ride, drive 1km.
