OUR ACCOMMODATION
We are very fortunate in that Nyanza Farm is ideally situated in the picturesque Malkerns Valley. We are central to most of the tourist attractions, including the craft and curio shops. Swaziland’s Game Parks are within easy reach, and there are many nice places to eat out at nearby, including for families with children. Being located in the Middleveld our climate is mild, and our area is considered to be free of Malaria. There is a lot to enjoy without having to travel far, as well as just relaxing on the farm and enjoying the wonderful views. We have many friendly farmyard animals who enjoy visitors, as well as the herd of Jersey cows who are milked twice a day in the parlour. Horse Trails and Riding lessons are available here on the farm, from our stable of well-schooled horses. A lot of our visitors spend their whole holiday here on the farm, just enjoying the atmosphere!We have a couple of options available for accommodation.

THE COTTAGES
There are two cottages, of which both are fully equipped as a home and are perfect for self-catering. They are set in a quiet, secluded part of the farm, both with their own spacious private garden.Each has two bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and the other one with two singles. Both have ensuite bathrooms. One of the cottages also has a sleeper couch in the lounge that can make a double or two single beds. For large groups or families we can easily add more extra beds as the rooms are large.Each cottage has a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large veranda with a wonderful view. There are braai facilities at each cottage.If you are staying in the cottages breakfast is provided on a DIY basis. There is fruit juice, a choice of three cereal, egg and bacon, toast, jam and marmalade, and tea or coffee.

THE FAMILY/BACKPACKERS LODGE
Our latest addition is a Family/Backpackers Lodge. This consists of; One Double room, with an extra bed for a third person/child, and ensuite bathroom. It has a small kitchenette with a fridge, two ring cooker, kettle, toaster and eating utensils. One Communal Dormitory with 6 bunk beds and a bathroom. There is a small kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge, kettle, toaster and utensils. In the Backpackers Lodge bed linen is provided, but towels and breakfast are not.There is a special rate if you would like to take the whole lodge (double room and dorm) as a private unit, for families/groups – please see our rates below.
