Paradise Divers Dive Center

Description

Wasini Island, near the Tanzanian border is famous about its peace, there are no cars, nor any disturbing factors.
The island is situated at the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Reserve which is rich in vivid underwater life: dolphins, turtles, whale sharks and many more creature lives at the coral reefs.

We offer:

• rooms with 4 beds in each, with bathroom, and
• tents with 2 beds each, using shared bathroom. The tents are placed at the best spot of the island, the view from their terrace is spectacular!

There is no electricity on the island, we use generators and solar panels.
Drinking water we bring from the mainland, and for other use we collect the rain.

We also offer full-board in our African Restaurant with various delicious Swahili and Continental dishes.

The island is proud of its vast mangrove forest, which gives home to many rare bird species. We offer free guided tour to the Magrove forest and the fossil Coral Garden, also to one of the Swahili fishing village on the ilsand for your guests.

The mainland is only 10 minutes away from us by boat, we provide transfer to our guests.

No high season supplement.

How To Find Us

We have an office at Ukunda, Diani Beach on the Beach Road, next to Galana Paradise, opposite of Diani Beach Hotel.
The closest jetty to Wasini Island is in Shimoni, which is 2h drives from Mombasa to South, and 1h drive from Diani. From Shimoni it is only 10min to cross the channel.
